2012 Fall Tours Photos

September & October 2012 SVR Tours

On the rainy morning of September 8th eleven cars departed for two days of touring. By mid morning the rain had stopped and the weather was good for the rest of the tour. The Canton Classic Car Museum, a private car collection, an unusual antique store, Schoenbrunn Village, the Reeves Victorian Mansion and the Warther Museum were the attractions visited in Ohio.

The event was planned by Fred & Rosemary Ross and a good time was had by all.

At 8 AM on October 19th, with low clouds and light fog, eighteen cars left for the Cook Forest area in Pennsylvania. By 9:00 AM the sun had broke through and the temperature soon was in the mid 60s. After a picnic style lunch beside a mountain stream they took a leisurely drive along the scenic Clarion River. The bright sun made the water sparkle and the Autumn leaves reflecting in the water made this drive very memorable. They next followed a forest road through a mixture of green pines and trees with colorful leaves. After a stop at an antique store they had their evening meal overlooking the Allegheny River before heading for home.
