January 11th - Group discussion
A meeting for members to share any new tips, tricks, stores, or restaurants they've discovered. Also a time to welcome new members and have general discussions. Hope to see you there.
February 1st - Gluten Free Potluck
In the deep of winter, come out and join us for a gluten free potluck of food that will warm your body and soul. Just bring a gluten free dish and the recipe (with your name on it) to share with others. It's a good time to come out of hibernation for some good food, learn new recipes, and share some good company.
May 16th - Online Group discussion

We had a good discussion around how folks were doing. One of the subjects was on getting GF food supplies. Suggestions included:
- www.authenticfoods.com for flour and oats
- Curbside pickup is available at
- Target
- The Peoples Co-op
- Hy-Vee
- There was a discussion and concern about Hy-Vee not requiring masks and that employees were not wearing masks.
- www.schwans.com was also recommended as a good source among other things for GF pizza and chicken chunks. It cost a little more, but nice to have it the food delivered.

Bring containers to bring home some of these tasty treats. If you can, bring about 3 dozen cookies with the recipe(s) - but there is no need to bring cookies to participate. We’d love to have you.

A Gastroenterologist at Mayo Clinic will give his annual update on the state of Celiac detection, research, and what's on the horizon.
June 22nd - Caroline Weeks, Mayo Clinic Dietician, Fresh Thyme - tour, samples, and open discussion
Come enjoy a tour of the gluten free options at Fresh Thyme by Caroline Weeks. Afterwards, we'll enjoy samples and have an open discussion.

April 27th - Jacalyn See
A clinical dietitian at Mayo Clinic will discuss nutrition and celiac.
April 13th - Dr. Imad Absah - New date after weather reschedule
A pediatric Celiac specialist from the Mayo Clinic, will give a presentation on Celiac in children - testing and treatment.
Dr. Absah gave some background on celiac and the current state with kids. There was also an informative Q & A session with attendees.

March - “Stocking your gluten free pantry” and traveling gluten free.
We’d appreciate any input you have on either of these subjects - especially the travel tips. If you get your input in by the end of February, we can make sure it is included in the meeting handout. Your input can be as short or as long as you like - your experiences can help someone else enjoy their trip more.
