History

In the early 1970's, Norma B. Elling, a member of the Presbyterian Church in Pluckemin, experienced through the prolonged illness of a family member, the loneliness and isolation of many residents in long-term care facilities. She conceived and designed the organization to bring spiritual help and community support to such persons. This not-for-profit organization was founded in 1975.
