BREAKING NEWS: OCTOBER 7, 2015 - Patch 3.0 - The END of Sc2gears.

StarCraft II's Patch 3.0 rendered Sc2gears' parsing engine incapable of doing its work. In short: Sc2gears can no longer parse replays since Patch 3.0.

No further updates will be released for Sc2gears, only Scelight will be maintained. Visit the Scelight home page and start using it.

Sc2gears™ is a general StarCraft II utility for everyone who is interested in the game (either a player, a developer or just a game analyzer). Its main features are replay management and analysis for both individual replays and mass replays (multi-replay statistics). It provides easy but powerful and efficient replay management and basic statistics for starters, and advanced statistics and time development charts useful even for professional players. It is also a great asset for tournament and league organizers in quick analysis of tournament results.

It has many handy or cool-to-have features like APM Alert, replay auto-save, replay sharing with a few clicks, automatic retrieval and display of player profiles, mouse print recording, replay renaming based on user provided template, On-Top Game info dialog (In-game info panel), On-Top APM display dialog (In-game current APM), mouse practice game, integrated private video streaming server.

The program is written in Java, so everyone can use it: Windows, MAC OS-X and Linux users (and others where you can install Java).

Installation

Download the newest version from the Downloads page. Extract the zip to anywhere you like. You're done!

Requirements

You just need Java Runtime Environment 7.0 or newer.

Nothing else is required, you don't even need StarCraft II to run this program.

You can install Java here: http://java.com/

Tip: The 32-bit Java is significantly faster and uses much less memory than the 64-bit version, and the 32-bit version runs on both the 32 and 64 bit architectures and operating systems. So I recommend to install the 32-bit Java. If you already installed the 64-bit version, you can uninstall it.

Sc2gears is not a 3rd party program!

Sc2gears is an independent program: it does not interact with StarCraft II, it does not read or modify StarCraft II's memory and it does not modify the files of StarCraft II. Sc2gears is legit by Blizzard's terms of use.

That being said, you can use it anywhere, with or without any other launchers or programs, and you can never be banned for using it.
