4 Legged Walker (v1)

This is my first LEGO project in a long time! and I've made LOTS of mistakes. But anyway, here's the result in pictures and videos. I hope I can improve the model in future iterations :)

Here you can see the robot. It has 4 Power Functions motors (2 XL motors and 2 M motors), 2 IR receivers and the battery box, all built in into the robot itself. The 2 XL motors control the up and down movement of the legs (2 legs each motor), and the 2 M motors control the forward-backwards movement (2 legs each).

I made 3 big mistakes with this robot:

1) Far too much reduction making it extremely slow

2) Didn't pay too much attention to make all the gear connections strong, so gears jump all the time (specially when the robot tries to stand on only two legs)

3) The robot has no equilibrium, so, as soon as two legs are lifted, it just falls down.
