RHS Band Announcements:  

• 2025-2026 Performance Schedule:

  • • • The performance schedule for the 2025-2026 school year is available on the Calendar page

• All State Auditions:  Saturday, January 10

  • • • This year's auditions will take place at Spaulding High School in Barre

      • Bus permission slips are due ASAP.  We load the bus at 10:30am and will return around 8pm.  Please plan to bring work to stay occupied while waiting for others to complete their auditions and bring food/snacks.

• District Music Festival - Part 1 (Band):  Friday, February 13 - Note the date change!

  • • • This festival will take place at Vergennes Union High School 

      • Please note that the date has changed as of 11/13

      • Snow date:  Saturday, February 14

• Jazz Night:  Tuesday, February 17

  • • • The RHS Jazz Ensemble will take the stage in the RHS Theater for our annual Jazz Night beginning at 7pm

      • Student report time:  6:45pm

      • Concert attire:  Band polo shirt and black pants or skirt

• District Music Festival - Part 2 (Jazz):  Friday, March 6

  • • • This festival will take place at Mill River Union High School

      • Details TBA

      • Snow date:  Saturday, March 7

• Music in Our Schools Month Band Concert:  Monday, March 9

  • • • This concert begins at 7:00pm in the RHS Gym

      • Students should plan to arrive early enough to be seated with instruments and music by 6:45pm

      • Concert attire:  Band polo shirt and black pants or skirt

•   Broadway Trip - Aladdin:  Wednesday, April 8

  • • • Stay tuned for details on how to sign up for this field trip

      • The basic plan:  We leave RHS early in the morning and travel to New York City by charter bus with lunch en route.  We will see a 1:00pm matinee of Aladdin at the New Amsterdam Theatre before grabbing dinner and returning to RHS that night.
