The Citizen Mapper Project

The Citizen Mapper project is an outgrowth of my work with the Spokane Riverkeeper (Waterkeepers Alliance), and my ongoing collaboration on many online projects with Dr. Cynthia Annett. It is a pilot project developing a web based, volunteer forum/wiki for aiding small citizen groups in their efforts to attract awareness to their efforts through the use of free, collaborative web tools and technology - mainly Google tools. 

Part of this effort entailed organizing workshops and creating online learning resources for interested parties to utilize in their efforts. A byproduct of this work was the engagement of several of the key cohorts in the group in various online educational and training efforts.
