POWERLibrary: POWERLibrary contains hundreds of databases that will help you to get the information that you need! Databases can be more helpful than doing a simple Google search because the information on databases is updated by actual humans, and you can be CERTAIN that the information that you find is correct! Here are some useful databases that can help you find Current Events for Science:

**See Mrs. Hassinger or Mrs. Kintsche for username and password for POWERLibrary.

KidSearch: Click "In The News" and then hit "GO". Make sure you find a SCIENCE related article!

Searchasaurus: Click "Science & Math". You can continue click through the subjects until you find something of interest, or use the Search Bar. Important: Please make sure to click the box for "PDF Full Text" (you can save to your iBooks) and input the year range for the article. You can also search by Lexile level!

SIRS Discoverer: Use the Advanced Search to narrow your search to a specific topic, based on lexile and/or date.
