Hello everyone.

I've just come back from Defcon and I still didn't come back to reality. The conference was amazing! Meet lots of new friends, made contacts, learned stuffs I've never imagine would exist. (Propeller is un-be-li-va-ble: 8 x 32bit cores in a single package costing less than 8 dolars!) My workshop was good to! There were people from australia, german, usa, japan, india. English is really the universal language.

For those who didn't have opportunity to get to the workshop I'm posting all the slides, technical notes and source code I've used. In order to run the system you'll need:

  • Programmer - ICD2/3 or PICkit3

  • Microcontroler pic18f4550

  • Few leds (with 1k resistors)

  • Potentiometer (10k)

  • LCD text display

  • 5v DC source

I've used these software to desing/program the board:

I'm still developing the kernel and the device drivers for the microcontroller. Just keep an eye on my github for more info: https://github.com/rmaalmeida/. or my twitter @rmaalmeida.
