Name: Rev. Dr. Ritva H. Williams

Occupation: Pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America; specifically serving at St. Stephen's in CR, IA.

Best part of my job: Baptizing babies! (and anyone else who wants to be baptized for that matter!)

The Dr. Part: I hold a Ph.D. in New Testament and Christian Origins (earned at University of Ottawa, Canada). I taught at Augustana College, Rock Island for twelve years, have published scholarly books, articles and essays (see my CV) as well as books and materials specifically for the church crowd. I am currently an independent scholar.
