Dr. Rahul Vanam is presently a Senior Research Scientist at Amazon Prime Video. Previously, he held research positions at Brightcove and InterDigital Communications. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington, Seattle. His research interest includes video and image compression and processing, video quality metrics, and perceptual video coding.
