Conference and Seminar Presentations

This is a long list, and I expect most visitors to my site don't really care how many papers I've presented or where. Nor do most readers of my CV. So I've put them on a separate webpage. Some of the papers listed here that aren't also listed under publications (or didn't end up as chapters of my first book) are still being polished, or shopped around. Papers presented are first, followed by commentaries.

At the moment I have listed 215 presentations of papers and 18 commentaries. The number of distinct papers presented (not including commentaries) stands at 89. Sometimes there have been tricky questions about paper-identity-across-time to be resolved: papers with different names and different contents have sometimes been counted as the same paper. I've been parsimonious, and counted papers as the same when there were borderline cases of paper-identity. This list excludes paper presentations given as job talks, as I believe is the custom.
