We are a student subunit of the American Fisheries Society affiliated with Idaho State University. Our mission is to provide students (graduate or undergraduate) in or interested in the fields of fisheries and stream ecology a platform to interact, learn, and grow as scientists and stewards of the waterways we call home. We do this by regularly meeting to discuss current topics of interest in our field, participating in outreach events and conservation projects in our community in southeast Idaho, and bringing in professionals from our field for seminars and workshops.
