Germanicus is Nero Claudius Drusus, brother of Imperator Tiberius,

entitled as Germanicus by the Roman Senate.

He died at age of 33 in Epidaphne near Antiochia.His ashes were taken to Italy by Agrippina.

The annexed verses are:

Edle mit bebendem Arm ach hälst(sic) Du alles umschlungen / Was vom Geliebten Dir,was von Germanicus blieb /

All' ach halten wir so die Urne des Lebens umfangen / O wem liesse die Zeit mehr noch als Asch und als Staub.....
