I am a computer scientist, working on algorithms, number theory, and applied logic. I also have an interest in combinatorial games such as go, sudoku, tsume shogi, and so on. I got in 1999 a Dr. Eng. in computer science from the Catholic University of Chile. I live in San Pedro de la Paz (Concepción, Chile).

Satellite Meeting on Algebra and Model Theory, related to the First Joint Meeting between the American Mathematical Society and the Sociedad de Matemática de Chile, held in Pucón, Chile, on december 13-14 and 15-18, 2010. I gave the talk: "A Strategy for Attacking Büchi's Problem".
XXV Jornadas de Matemática de la Zona Sur, held in Concepción, Chile, on april 18-20, 2012. I gave the talk "Búsqueda de dependencias funcionales basada en dualidad de hipergrafos".
XVI Conference on Integer Programming and Combinatorial Optimization, IPCO'2013, held in Valparaíso, Chile, on march 18-20, 2013. I presented at the poster session the work "A quadratic algorithm for 2-cyclic robotic scheduling with variable processing times and work-in-process <= 2".
