It is meant to be used as an aid to genealogists, historians, and other researchers.There's a lot of work that needs to be done to this site, and with all the digitized newspapers becoming available, it's likely this project will be a continuous work-in-progress! My goal is to first list all I can find for the United States and then go on to add newspapers for other countries.
