Auto-Shutter Script

Great for time-lapse photography, animation, selfies, or any other time when you need a helping hand on the shutter. Leave it on the camera and use it only when you need it. This is written for the NX300 camera, but may work on other similar NX cameras too.

Instructions:

• Download the script from the Downloads page.
• Unzip to the root of the camera's CF Card.
• Power on the camera -- camera operates normally.
• Press the "Trash" button, followed by the "+/-" button to bring up the menu.
• Click on the time interval you'd like, and the camera will begin snapping pictures automatically.
• Power off the camera to get it to stop.

Note: Make sure the camera's power settings won't shut off the camera early. Also, it's best to use manual focus to ensure every photo is taken. If it fails to auto-focus, it won't take the picture.

FTP Access Point Script

Great for running a photo booth! When the camera is on, you'll see a wifi network called "nx300" hosted by the camera. Connecting to it, you can then FTP files from the memory card. (In the future, this could host a web server to view pictures directly.) This is written for the NX300 camera, but may work on other similar NX cameras too.

Instructions:

• Download the script from the Downloads page.
• Unzip to the root of the camera's CF Card.
• Power on the camera.
• On a PC, you should see the "nx300" wifi network appear. Connect to it.
• By default, the FTP server is on 192.168.0.1 port 21, serving from DCIM/100PHOTO. A URL of "ftp://192.168.0.1/" should work in your web browser.
