I teach 7-12th grade FCS, 9-12th Art, Culinary 1, Advanced Culinary and advise the Drummond ProStart Culinary team.

I grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan and attended college at Michigan State University where I earned my BFA in Art Education with a minor in Visual Arts. I was able to spend the summer of my senior year on a Study Abroad trip to the Canadian Rockies. This was a life changing experience for me and opened my eyes to the true beauty of the West. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before. I knew at the point I crossed the Montana state line that I would have to move here.

After completing two semesters of student teaching in the Grand Ledge School District I started applying for teaching jobs in Montana. I road tripped out for the interview in Drummond 16 years ago and life hasn't been the same.

During my 10th year at Drummond I returned to college, taking classes through Montana State University to gain my teaching endorsement for Family & Consumer Sciences.

I have two beautiful children, Jacklyn (7) and Trice (3) that keep me very busy.

Some of my favorite activities are camping, water skiing, spending time in Michigan with my family, barbecuing with friends, making art, cooking, entertaining, singing and attempting to play my guitar.
