Indoor - Location Based Services (LBS)

Worked on a project "Indoor - Location Based Services (LBS)" which identifies the mobile users location with the help of wireless signals of the WiFi network that is available within the building. Once the mobile users location is identified various location based services can be provided to the user with respect to the facilities that are available in the building. Queries like "Where am I now ? ", "How to reach room number X ? ", "Where is the nearest water cooler ? and how to reach there ? ", and so on can be answered by graphical maps and route guidance right in the user's mobile device. This can also serve as a guidance system for the people with low vision where the route guidance with in a building can be done through automated verbal (speech) guidance. read more
