Constructs are really any clumped energy thingy.  It’s an umbrella term for all energy creations.  So, what does all that mean?  It means that everything made of energy from psi-balls to ghosts to your soul can be defined as a construct.  This is because in reality everything is made; even if you are born you are made… All things that be, and at some point did not yet be, are made.  Sure, you can argue to the contrary, or say that makes everything a construct, but some things are very certainly not constructs.
