Midterm plans

End of October it is appropriate to make some plans, that may well change somehow in the future as other stuff comes pressing by. But here they are. The paper with Terry for OUP monism book now entitled Existence Monism Trumps Priority Monism is practically written. It still has to be presented in a lecture or two, one of them video registered. Tomorrow I meet Vojko, and we have to discuss some things. Our successful Boulder RoME congress presentation of Vagueness and Moral Dilemmas has to be written up and submitted as a paper, and so does our Phenomenology of Dance paper, co-written by Nicole Speletic. Then in the summer semester we have to start writing another paper for Boulder RoME submission 2011. My preliminary suggestion is that this should be related to Vojko's thesis that I understand as a kind of ceteris paribus generalities' power affirmation, the general approach that I have sketched under inclusive disjunction way to go; hope that Vojko can join at least sometimes Moral philosophy classes where this should be worked out. In parallel time, there should be preparations started about my and Terry's Bled paper June 2011 Symposium Knowledge, Understanding and Wisdom paper, about competence based performance error and the stuff. In the nearest future there is my Milano presentation of Marini's thesis on Veber, in a symposium including Venanzio Raspa. After that I will visit Armando Verdiglione in Villa Borromeo. The Meinongian thing will get rolling with the visit of Seppo Sajama, who will talk first about his relation to Veber and then about temperance. On November 15th I will push my and Vojko's Meinongian Scorekeeping thesis that I think really needs wider attention and recognition: namely that Meinongian objects are vague, if nothing else, because they are of the realm of language and thought and not that of the ultimate ontology.
