The total intake in the Department for post graduation courses in Marine Geophysics is 12. The students are admitted through all India entrance examination (CAT) which is purely merit based. Seminars and workshops are a regular part of the curriculum. The students are also involved in various extra curricular activities which contribute to their personality development. Besides postgraduate academic programs, the department is actively engaged in research leading to PhD.
