The D1 HS Group Jazz Festival will be held on February 13th at Kennebunk High School. Click here to register your ensemble using a google form and click here for a copy of the invoice to give to your business office. Please remember that MMEA has a "no pay, no play" policy. Registration is due by January 20th. Please send checks to D1 Treasurer Missy Shabo. Checks can be accepted at the door, but not PO's.
Concessions will be on sale throughout the event. Audience members are encouraged! Directors and performers can watch ensembles for free, guests are $5 a person (max of $20 per family) for admission for the entire festival.
Information/reminders for the festival
Your homeroom will also serve as your warmup space. No music stands will be in these rooms. Please be in your room ready to move 5 minutes before your performance time. A runner will come to get you when it is time.
Performance time will be 30 minutes. This includes set up, performance, clinic (if time allows), and breakdown.
Judge feedback will be made available virtually via Google Drive. A link will be provided once registration is complete.
Pianos and 3 microphones will be provided in both performance spaces
Vibraphones will be provided in each performance space. If you need a motor for the vibes, please mark that in your registration form.

Guitar/Bass Amps
Aux Percussion
Mallets and Sticks
