Group

The three that set out from St. A were Jim, Roger (who was only going as far as La.), and me. Ed also rode along for several days.

In addition, a group of three started further inland in Orlando, intending to join us down the road. While we kept in touch and occasionally crossed paths with the Orlando group, we never rode together for any length of time. We did meet up in Mobile Bay, where we waited a day for the wind to ease up so the ferry could run.

Roger actually left us in Biloxi. Jim and I made it to the beach at San Diego. Tony rode a route from Orlando to San Francisco, though not sequentially. We crossed routes with Tony again on the Apache reservation.
