COLLEGE BOARD AND ACT ACCOMMODATIONS

Attention parents: Our guidance department is working on filling Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) Applications for testing accommodations with the College Board. Their goal is to have the required documentation entered by June 30th for the 2021/2022 college board testing (PSAT, SAT, AP etc). Paperwork for most seniors have already been filed. However, if you have any concerns, please reach out to your guidance counselor prior to June 30th. Please be sure to follow up with your Guidance Counselor to check on the status when Guidance reopens in August before the filing deadlines pass. Requests for accommodations for the college board exams happen prior to test registrations.

For the ACT, students must register for an actual exam FIRST and then request Guidance to submit for accommodations. The next registration for the ACT is after June 30th, therefore, reach out to Laurie Mitchell directly: at Laura.Mitchell@LynbrookSchools.org over the summer to request your accommodations.

Please see the below sites for further clarification and important deadlines. Please do not miss this opportunity to get your testing accommodations setup. There are very strict deadlines.

I would like to thank Mrs. Saban, Director of Special Services, and Laurie Mitchell, Director of Guidance, for partnering with SEPTA to get this process in place.
