Using Long Exposure Stacker

Making a long exposure image with Long Exposure Stacker has 4 main steps:

  1. Capture a set of images. Ideally the camera is on a stable tripod. You can also capture a fast burst with a high shutter speed if you carefully hand-hold the camera.

  2. (Optional) Convert the images from RAW to TIFF.

  3. Stack the images with Long Exposure Stacker.

  4. Finish the image with your favorite image processing tool such as Photoshop or Affinity Photo.

Steps 1 through 3 are discussed in detail below. You can find many tutorials, both free and paid, on the web that will help with both step 1 and step 5.
