resources to homeschooling families in Missouri
and Kansas by
providing regular meetings, social activities, information about homeschooling
and legislative updates. Support Group Meetings Looking for homeschooling answers, to connect with other homeschoolers, or share resources? LEARN hosts monthly an informational support meeting the last Monday of each month from June – April (no meetings in May or December). 6:00 – 7:00 pm Introduction to Homeschooling in Missouri and Kansas 7:00 – 8:30 pm General meeting with a different topic each month Rockhurst Community Center 5401 Troost Avenue Meeting Topics 2011-12 July - Panel discussion with Homeschool Graduates August - Getting started and recordkeeping September - Special Needs (guest presenter) October - Multiple Intelligences/Learning Modalities November - Reading, Writing, and Language Arts December - NO MEETING January - Math February - Science March - Non-core subjects April - Open Forum May - NO MEETING - please join in the Graduation Celebration this month June - What about High School & Prepping for College July - NEW MEMBERSHIP YEAR BEGINS | Upcoming
