There are many especially nice places for weddings norther to Rovaniemi (in Northern Lapland, e.g. Saariselkä region). Hotel & Igloo Village Kakslauttanen http://www.kakslauttanen.fi is especially recommended for weddings and honeymoons. They have nice glass (and ice) igloos with luxurious beds. You may stay in your bed and see the Northern Lights through the glass ceiling. Or have weddings in the summer - under the midnight sun!

The chapel is Ecumenical, which means it's in use of every religion. Saariselkä area is one of the best places for seeing the northern lights. The cross-country skiing track network with over 200 kilometers of trails is in that area (cross-country ski rental in Kakslauttanen). Saariselkä ski slopes are just 10 kilometers from Kakslauttanen (transportation is arranged).
