WHO
This retreat is open to all interested parties. It is not exclusively for Pachakuti Mesa Tradition practitioners, the tradition taught internationally by don Oscar for over 30 years. The retreat will fill on a first come, first served basis.

Workshop begins with dinner on Thursday evening at 6:00 pm and will finish after lunch on Sunday afternoon around 2:00 pm.

Conveniently located in Joshua Tree, it is a 2-hour drive from Los Angeles, 2 hours from San Diego and 3½ hours from Las Vegas. With a wellness center and traditional Lakota Sweat Lodge, JTRC is a beautiful and powerful place to hold the ceremonial gathering. Come early or stay late to enjoy the facilities. You can reserve additional nights for $50/night directly with JTRC by calling them during business hours. Just let them know you are with the don Oscar retreat.
REGISTRATION FEE
$725 - $1,110 depending on your choice of lodging and payment options. The cost of the retreat includes four days of initiatory teaching and PMT ritual, live music throughout the retreat provided by The Sami Brothers, two Clarity Breathwork sessions facilitated by Susan Bookman and Alan Waugh, sound healing by Russell Feingold, creative materials, organic non-GMO catered meals, and accommodations for three nights.

TASKS OF PREPARATION
In preparation for this heart deepening and mind expanding encounter with other-terrestrial and other-dimensional shamanic alliances, please fulfill the below prerequisites:
1. (a) Read a book of either ancient or contemporary literature you feel best illumines the human journey of liberation from the illusory confines of our material world. Although vastly limited in scope, some examples include: The Epic of Gilgamesh, The Ramayana, Beowulf, Homer’s Odyssey, Dante’s Divine Comedy, Cervantes’ Don Quixote, Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi, Maria Orsi’s The Red Lion, Hesse’s Siddhartha, Maugham’s The Razor’s Edge, Redfield’s The Celestine Prophecy, Coelho’s The Alchemist, etc.
(b) Select a page or two from your chosen book that most spoke to your soul and take the time to write it out by hand and bring it with you for sharing in circle.
2. In service to your human liberation from any materialistic dominant tendencies of ego-mind, begin a ritualized process of lightening your load by freeing yourself of any nonessential extraneous and/or surplus material objects/things occupying space within your home. IMPORTANT: Bring a photo of the one item you felt most resistance to giving away.

- Your hand written page(s) from your selected book
- Photo of the item you felt most resistant to giving away
- A 24" x 24" size manta with your basic Pachakuti Mesa including a handful of your favored artes - see PDF for details
***Due to fire danger, the Kuntisuyu Council will provide a battery-operated votive candle for your mesa.***
- A square or cube shaped arte representing Self
- A triangle or pyramid shaped arte representing Soul
- A circle or sphere shaped arte representing Spirit
- A 15” – 18” long, primary wing feather with a strong quill through which to insert a small nail
- An all-white outfit
- An all-black outfit
- Ceremonial sound maker(s)/musical instrument(s)
- An eye cover for journey work
- Yoga mat
- Reusable water bottle
