We explore mechanisms driving changes in bird populations and communities. We climb high into forest canopies, tiptoe through flooded grasslands, wade into mountain lakes, and play on the patio of primary schools in southern South America. Our research is motivated by a love of nature and a commitment to conserve biodiversity in spaces shared with humans.
