During my employment at the VU Amsterdam I have initiated a support network for foreign employees. The idea of the network is to facilitate the integration of the internationals and help them being successful in their professional careers since the first days of their employment, which would be of great benefit both for the international staff and the university as their employer.

The kick-off meeting with the presence of the VU rector prof. Vinod Subramanian, who became a patron of the network, took place on 6^th February 2017 and since then the network is running smoothly under auspices of International Office.
