I am Professor at Aarhus University. 

My research is in the areas of applied micro theory, behavioral and experimental economics, and the economics of education. I investigate, using economic theory and experiments, what influences individual choices and how to improve outcomes in domains such as education, self-control, and workplace behavior. I doing so, I have studied a range of applications and topics -  from goal setting, mental accounting, nudging, norms, and school interventions  to discrimination and gender stereotypes.

I am Associate Editor for the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Mercator Fellow at the KD2 School at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a CEPR Affiliate.
