On move in day – meet neighbors and people on other floors right away – just introduce yourself
Make friends with your neighbors – they will more than likely be your best friends down the line
On first & second day of class – sit next to someone you might want to be friends with… seats stay consistent after the second day of class day
Go to involvement fair and just sign up for clubs
Take naps – you’ll need them
Change your teacher if needed – first impressions mean a lot – there are a lot of bad teachers – the teacher you have is very important for grades
General advisors don’t care – go straight to the head of your major OR ask an older student in your major
Go to office hours & ask questions
Get to know your professor – and more importantly make sure they know you
