HEAD VARSITY COACH

Erik Hofheinz has been head coach at Jordan since 2005.  His coaching experience has taken him as far as the beaches of Southern California. He played for James Madison University on the men's club team for three years and continued after college playing USAV. Many of his summers were spent playing in two man tournaments in Virginia and one summer overseas in Australia and New Zealand.  He and his wife Jennifer have a son and 2 daughters who wore the Falcons uniform for 4 years each.

ASSISTANT COACH

Rachel Pence

Rachel’s love for the game of volleyball began after attending a summer camp before fifth grade. She then played for both her middle school and high school teams as well as for a club team out of Tampa, Florida. After taking a step back from playing in 2011, she began coaching at the YMCA where she was able to help teach and improve both beginners and experienced players from the ages of 7 to 15 and show them her love of the game. This experience blossomed into coaching a club team for the last 4 years before her recent move to North Carolina. Rachel graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Elementary Education and moved to North Carolina for a teaching position. She has coached at NCAcademy since 2022 and returns in her second year at Jordan.

JV Head Coach / Assistant

Josie Richardson

Coach Josie Richardson graduated from William Peace University. She played two years on JV at Farmville Central High School and then two years on varsity there as well. Josie received the hustle award her sophomore and senior year of high school, Josie also ran winter and spring track until her sophomore year. She started playing volleyball at the age of eight with recreational league then moved on to club at 14. She played for Coastal Plains Volleyball Club until she graduated and tried out for WPU team.  She has coached at NCAcademy since 2015 and returns in her second year at Jordan. 

ASSISTANT COACH

Maegan Williams

Maegan is a former student-athlete from Jordan! She graduated from Jordan in 2021 and was a part of the Falcons volleyball program for all 4 years. She played every position on the court but specialized as a DS/Libero, she played 5 years of club with Jammers Volleyball and NC Volleyball Academy, and just finished 2 years playing collegiately. This will be her first year coaching and is very excited to see what the season brings!
