Well our Christmas plans this year were up in the air. We were not sure where we would be due to Kristina's pending delivery. We celebrated Christmas with Karissa, Broc, and the boys early due to the uncertainty. As it turned out Kristina went into labor on the morning of December 20th. So we headed to Arlington after Liz go off work. We made it in at about 11:30 pm. We picked Adelynn up in the morning, took her to school and then went to the Hospital. Unfortunately only one of us was allowed to go go up to her room. Liz bit the bullet and stayed down (in the car). So Grandpa was the first to get to see and hold Lucas, Grandma had to wait a day. We did get to visit with Steven and his family Christmas Morning via Video Chat.

We had planned a trip to San Diego to see our son and his family in July. It had been almost 1 1/2 years since we had been out to visit thanks to COVID. We flew out on a Thursday evening. Due to delays, we were lucky and arrived just 15 minutes prior to the airport closing in San Diego. We go back to our son's house and went to bed. When we got up on Friday morning, our Granddaughter surprised us with the news that we were not staying in San Diego, but rather would be getting on a plane to Maui on Saturday morning. It was an early anniversary present. When we arrived in Maui, our daughter and her family from Omaha was there waiting for us. Our daughter and her family from Texas arrived later that evening. It was a great surprise. We had a great time in Maui for a full week. Thank you to our great children for such a wonderful surprise! Below are some photos

We had a nice weekend (Jun 3 - 6). We took a motorcycle trip to Wichita, KS. We met up with a bunch of other Blue Knights From the US and a Few from Canada. In all we did just shy of 1100 miles. The weather was great and had some nice riding.

After a great Weekend with Adelynn, we came back home and had a great weekend and celebrated Eden's 5th birthday. They had a fun time bowling.
