Korean Pronunciation Diagnostic / 한국어 발음 진단 검사 - A test for diagnosing strengths and weaknesses related to Korean segmental pronunciaiton for L2 learners.

Pronunciation for Teachers - Lots of great, easily-digestible information about L2 pronunciation and practical tips for teachers.

Vocabulary Resources

Prof. Paul Nation's page - great collection of vocabulary resources for teachers, testers, materials creators, and researchers

http://www.lextutor.ca/ - collection of web-based tools for lexical analysis. Also has pedagogic tools for English language teaching.



Statistical Tools

R - free, open-source environment for statistics and data visualization. An active community creates and maintains packages for a plethora of analyses.

R Studio - a more user-friendly, efficient work environment used on top of base R. You're still writing scripts (it's a good thing!), but there are lots of bells and whistles in R Studio that make things much smoother.

Tools and Resources for ESL/EFL Teachers

Readworks.org - large collection of leveled reading articles, often with worksheets. Aimed at L1 students, these texts are workable with L2 students as well.

www.wordandphrase.info/ - corpus-driven information on words and phrases. Very helpful for teachers, and may be accessible for more advanced L2 learners as well.

Quizlet.com - Flashcard-based study tool. Teachers can provide customized wordlists with pictures, sounds, and definitions, and Quizlet generates activities, games, quizzes, and printable lists.

Socrative.com - a flexible student response system that can let you utilize students' smart phones in the classroom. Generates reports for teachers, too.

Dan's CALL Blog - A (now dead) blog originating from a course I took at NAU. Has some activities and lesson plans utilizing technological resources that may be of interest.

CALL Wiki - A CALL wiki created by the Spring 2013 ENG 568 class at NAU (from the same class as the blog). Contains a number of pages with information on various CALL topics.
