CV: Hideyasu M. R. HIDE SASAKI, ESQ., PH.D.

Dr. Hideyasu M. R. "Hide" Sasaki is a computer scientist. He is Senior Researcher tenured with primary appointment in The National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) in Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Sasaki served as a Formal Member at IEEE CIS ETTC and was the 2012-2015 Task Force Chair on Bio-Inspired Self-Organizing Collective Systems. His research interests include artificial life, artificial intelligence, swarm robotics, swarm intelligence, modeling collective biological systems, and bio-inspired computing. Dr. Sasaki was named an IARIA Fellow in 2010. He practices law as Attorney-at-Law in New York, U.S. His bio is listed in the Marquis' Who's Who in the World. His maternal ancestor is one of ten lords at Awaji Island, Taira-no-ason Shimada Tokiyoshi, Lord of Toutoumi-no-kami, and his eldest son Hyougo-no-suke, whose residence was Kurihara Castle on the south coast of Awaji Island in the Seto-naikai Sea of Western Japan.
