MrsForeCastle in Yellow Isle's Dockhouse tells you the meaning of the hieroglyphs used in the codes on the Obelisks for a meer $25,000. She also tells you that there are 16 Obelisks in total. If you dig where the Obelisk tells you to go, you find the cash that was buried when the Obelisk was built. (Turn your pedometer on for this; you do that by going into settings and selecting pedometer.)
IBIS means go East 10 feet
CAT means go West 10 feet
OWL means go North 10 feet
PAPYRUS means go South 10 feet
After digging up the treasure from what you believe to be your last Obelisk, return to the Yellow Dockhouse and talk to MrsForeCastle. Ask her if you have found all of the Obelisks. She either tells you, "Yes," or she lets you know how many you are still missing.
