Awards of Supervised or Mentored Students or Student Collaborators

Barton Lee won the 2018 John McMillan Prize for the Best Paper in Economics by a UNSW PhD Student.

Simon Mackenzie was awarded the UNSW Engineering Best Thesis Award.

Simon Mackenzie was awarded the UNSW/CSE 2016 Best Research Paper Prize for our joint paper.

Pang Luo was awarded first prize in NICTA Summer Scholars Program 2015-2016 for his project on using SAT solvers for social choice problems.

Martin Aleksandrov was the recipient of the IJCAI 2015 Computational Sustainability Track Outstanding Student Paper Award for our joint paper “Online Fair Division: analysing a Food Bank problem”.

Bart de Keijzer received the Centro Stefano Franscini Award for the best presentation by a young scientist at the Matching Markets Conference (20-23 May, 2012) in Ascona, Switzerland. His prize was based on our joint paper "Housing Markets with Indifferences: a Tale of Two Mechanisms".
