If not already covered at our mix and mingle last week:

· Going back to our Red, White and Blue hop, we forgot to congratulate our best dressed winners – Jo, Max and Margaret, and Sue who took home the New World hamper main raffle prize.

· Congrats also to Kev, Helen and Tim who won our quiz, under the Harbour City banner. It was a great crowd, including three pub regulars who joined in, were impressed by our dancing, and are now likely to come to beginner lessons!

Our next set of beginner lessons start on 1^st August, running for six Mondays, from 7.30-8.30pm. We’ll be added the details to our Facebook page and would appreciate you sharing - thanks for that nudge, Carmela!

Wishing Danka and Kevin all the very best for the Capital City United competition this Saturday. Come along to cheer them on and to see dancers from Gold Coast, Wellington, Hutt Valley, Kapi, and Whanganui. Tickets are $15 tonight, or $20 at the door. Doors open 5pm, competition from 6pm, there’s lots of time for dancing plus a Jack and Jill.

Next Monday we’ll be holding our AGM in the upstairs Memorial Room, from 7pm, followed by our usual dancing hopefully from around 8.15pm. Please come along to hear about the year that was, vote in the committee, and have your say on anything you’d like to be done, or done differently.
