1. I am taking this class because my research issues such as virtual worlds and tourism marketing, human perception and experience of the 3D virtual environment, spatial awareness and telepresence, are mainly dealing with human-computer interaction.

2. I believe the best user interface is currently a series of Google applications: gmail and igoogle. I open and use them every day to check my task schedule, emails, listening radios and read top 10 news via igoogle gargets and mail. I like them because of course they are free to download and use. In specific, igoogle has the flexibility and user controllable environment of applications. Gmail has tons of storage to save millions of my emails, and I can search all email and website via Google search engine in a short time, and talk to on-line friends with no running an extra heavy messenger program, and customize themes..so on. However, it will make the interface better if igoogle can be faster and lighter so that we can load the page quickly.

3. Perhaps, the worst user interface is the MS-dos on 16bit computer? or recently..."vvvv" program, http://vvvv.org/tiki-index.php. VVVV is very innovative program for me, but may not a useful program or usable program for general users because it has no communication style interface, but like a sketch pad interface. For general users, VVVV is not easy to learn and run the program as well as not easy to notice its various function and potentials. But, I do not want to suggest their concept and interface like Microsoft or adobe programs.
