Gmail

The best way to deal with spam – delete them the moment they arrive.

Here is a really simple trick to automatically delete spam messages in Gmail using a custom filter:

1. Log in to Gmail and click Settings. Go to the Filters tab and click Create a New Filter.

2. Type is:spam in the “From:” text box and click Next step [Ignore the warning]

3. Select the checkbox Delete it and hit Create filter.

You are done. Whenever you get any spam email, those messages will be deleted and the spam counter is disabled forever.

Note: Be careful using this filter, any email being marked as spam and all similar upcoming messages will automatically be deleted. If you like, to be on the safe side, when you create the filter, choose the action as “Mark as Read” instead of “Delete it”.
