The GATEway Science Fair is run completely by volunteers. Your help is greatly appreciated!

We are counting on you. Please email AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you discover you will be unable to attend your shift. We will need to find a replacement if you are unable to come.

Parking: Park in front of the school in the bus parking area.

Volunteer Check-in Desk: The volunteer check-in desk is located to your left and around the corner.
Adult volunteer roles
primarily include support for the check-in project and operational elements of the fair. Shift times depend on the role, but are generally 11:30 am - 2:30 pm and/or 2:00 pm - 4:45 pm. If you have a job preference, feel free to request it in the comments section on the sign up form.
The Adult Volunteer Sign Up form also includes the ability to indicate your interest in helping outside of fair day itself, with various levels of time commitment:
Friday evening set up of tables & chairs
Planning Team which meets monthly September through April
Workshops and Outreach in the month or two prior to the Fair
If you are a registrants guardian there are roles that will let you volunteer and be with your child for the fair

We realize COVID-19 is still circulating in our community. We will conduct our Fair in alignment with recommendations and/or requirements from Rochester Public Schools and Mayo Clinic.
