Welcome to Film on Friday's website. Film on Friday is Mayfield's film society. We aim to bring the world of cinema to the village by screening recent and classic films from a wide variety of countries. The dates and brief details of the films can be found on the 2009/2010 season page. This season's leaflet is attached below. As announced on 16 October, because of the problems we had with The Fallen Idol, we will show an extra film on March 26, 2010. Details will be announced together with the new feature to be shown in May. We show films on the big screen in their original 35mm format; and we encourage an interest in film itself. Films are shown every month (on a Friday!) from September to May. Doors open at 8pm and the films start at 8:30pm. A licensed bar is provided by Wealden Wholefoods of Wadhurst. Membership is excellent value with subscriptions unchanged in the last three seasons. Guest tickets are available at £7 each. Please phone on 01435 872165.
