EASTERN PAINTED TURTLES

A mother turtle laid eggs in my front yard.

By ancient law of 'Finders keepers' I dug them up and they are now mine.

UPDATE (1-1-2011): I have released all the Eastern Painted turtles I've collected. I now have 1 baby & 1 yearling snapping turtle.

Turtle at 1 week old. Not any bigger than a quarter.
