Bibliography on Skepticism

Bibliography on Skepticism

The present bibliography is divided into five parts. The first lists collections that contain papers dealing with different periods of the skeptical tradition. The other four parts list books, papers, discussions, critical notices, and reviews bearing upon ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary skepticism. Note that the bibliography is an ongoing project and that I add new items when I have some free time. Inclusion of a work in this bibliography does not mean that I consider the work in question worth reading.

An annotated bibliography on Pyrrhonism in ancient, modern, and contemporary philosophy is provided in my article “Pyrrhonism,” Oxford Bibliographies in Philosophy (2013, revised in 2019), DOI: 10.1093/OBO/9780195396577-0240.
