Daniel Ramirez is recognized by the Michigan Bureau of Indian Affairs as one quarter Saginaw Chippewa, and at this time is a certified descendant of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan. Outstanding Awards
In 1999, Mr. Ramirez received the prestigious “Dupont Antron Award” (Beverly Hills, CA) for his Native American Carpet Designs used in the award winning resort, The Soaring Eagle Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Prior to these awards, Mr. Ramirez had won several student competitions for his paintings at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he earned both his Bachelors and Masters in Fine Arts.
