Daniele Macciocchi is an Associate Professor at the University of Miami Herbert Business School. His research interests focus on two main areas: (i) corporate governance, with particular emphasis on the role of passive investing and shareholder activism; and (ii) corporate disclosure

Macciocchi's research has been presented at numerous international and national conferences and has been published in the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Accounting Research, the Journal of Accounting & Economics, The Accounting Review, the Review of Finance, and the Contemporary Accounting Review.
