Curtis R. Price, Ph.D.
This site is dedicated to my professional and personal activities. I am currently an associate professor of economics at the University of Southern Indiana coming to the university after completing my graduate studies at Purdue University. My main research interests lie in experimental methodology, managerial economics, and the intersection of gender and competition. I am an affiliated researcher at the Vernon Smith Experimental Economics Laboratory (VSEEL) at Purdue University and founder and coordinator of the Judith A. and Robert E. Griffin Experimental Economics Laboratory at the University of Southern Indiana.
My current profession is my second career. In my first life, I was a casualty actuary (mainly worker's compensation) and continue to have a keen interest in actuarial science. I continue to do consulting in both actuarial and related areas. Otherwise, I spend my time fishing and doing research.
