Northerner 28 Amelia (#64) - for sale - offers around $7000 invited

Amelia was fully rebuilt about 1995 and became a regular, sailing up solo from Greenwell Point to Sydney - solo for Compass Regattas and winning her first tiller-pilot.

She was stranded on a beach in Jervis Bay following a storm and blown ashore about 2014.

Again rebuilt, this time with a "Hard Dodger" more suited to her offshore sailing life. The then owner changed up to a bigger Compass 33. She was set-up for single handed sailing at sea.

She is at present moored in the Shoalhaven River (Nowra), having not been used for some time, the present owner is offering to pass her on.

By the photo, you can get a good idea of her fitout, solar panels, navigation gear and larger forehatch. She is very well set up for solo sailing in the always hard Offshore conditions of the NSW south coast. A 2 hour drive from Sydney - sheltered river mooring.
